Welcome! Blog away! Let’s keep it clean and focused on interesting stuff and the process of creating the Festival and expanding it. About Shakespeare, acting, directing, promotions, etc.
Don’t be critical of others.

I just left a comment but now I can’t find it! I’d dig around a bit more, but I’m off to rehearsal!

Here is my comment.
The company is having a good time with each other.
At this stage of rehearsal it is diffiult to put things together; people, (me and others) are not ’set’ with their lines and ‘beats’, though visible, have not been combined to form a seamless performance. It is the most frustrating time for an actor, seeing the prize but not yet attaining the summit.
I am happy with the dedication of this company, at par with any company I’ve worked with, in any form, be it stage, or screen. Inexperienced actors are being devloped within the group and more experienced performers are getting to stretch their wings.
I don’t know how the matinee’ idea will float, we wil see…
What a joy to have all this entertainment so near and yet so far from the noise of L.A or Bakersfield. I hope it continues.
